From a traffic perspective, it increased page views significantly (by a factor of 8), but it did not result in sales conversions, so it did not ultimately benefit the client I was testing it with and the server load was heavy, so we discontinued it.

If the client was selling advertising, it would have been worthwhile, however, so I still consider it a valuable tool for those circumstances.

I ended up disconnecting the plugin later – if you are going to use it, make sure you understand how wp-cache works so it doesn’t impact your server.

I still think it’s an effective tool, but only if you’re looking to rocket page views and know what you’re doing on the backend of your server, which, admittedly, I did not.
