I&#039;ve used Writely - my largest concern with the scenario you mentioned is that of security. If you&#039;re working with a document that you don&#039;t mind anyone seeing, it&#039;s great - if you need tighter security, it may not be the best choice.

My workaround to your situation is gmail - sending yourself the file saved as rich text and storing it within gmail. It isn&#039;t the greatest, however it will protect confidential information.</description>

I don&#039;t know how well Writely works, but I really love the idea of being able to upload my docs and keep them there so I can get to them from any computer.
