I’ve been hard at work on a project for one of my clients that has required tons of digging around the nooks and crannies of the web. During my travels I’ve run across a few sites of interest I thought I’d share.
Pluck - yes, another RSS reader and bookmark manager. I like the private label RSS feature.
Rojo - and another! Because you can never have too many.
Rollyo - create your own searchable set of sites. Very useful for datadiggers I suspect. JetEye is another similar service.
Wink - create and share tutorials or software demonstrations quickly and easily. Free download.
Ning - this is old buzz but it’s still cool.
apophenia :: danah boyd’s blog. Links over to her papers and articles on Friendster and social networking.
Flock - the browser that has everyone buzzing is still really rough around the edges but with promising features.
Steve Pavlina has fun with the technorati api and Tristan Louis’s research into the value of each link to Weblogs Inc. Good thing this blog isn’t my retirement plan ![]()
I’m also really psyched about Kiva - it’s great to see more microlenders taking to the internet.
I should be coming up for air shortly with more updates.
