Ah, eCommerce. Fun, isn't it?

I haven't finished Wil's new site, but I am going to be using Mal's eCart with it, http://www.mals-e.com. Even I could figure it out - the pro version is pretty reasonable, too. Problem is, you have to have a merchant account already - we have one, but you may not want to spring for all that initially.

Other good eCommerce solutions include ClickBank and 2Checkout.com - both have their own payment/cart solutions and you're not socked with setup fees and monthly charges, but they *are* 3rd party. Both regularly and consistently pay my clients who use them, though - they're really dependable. Clickbank offers a huge affiliate base, too - that is good for info products.

What ecommerce solution have you come up with for Wil's site? Is it a third-party off the shelf or something custom you've created?

Sounds exciting! I'm going to check out the sites. Now, if I could only come up with a niche of my own...
