According to the slide shown at Google analyst day, Weblogs is averaging $600 a day in AdSense revenue and made $45,000 in the first four months; the blogging company added AdSense in late August 2004.

I wasn’t kidding about sustainable self employment - how many people are making $216k (thanks, Wil) in their present jobs? The best part is how inexpensively you can get started; there are numerous free options for blogging now available. A word to the wise, though - the cleaner and more professional your blog, the better your revenue.
